Thaioil was granted the highest level in Sustainability Yearbook 2023 by S&P Global
Bangkok, Thailand: Recently, Thaioil received the highest ranking for sustainability at the level of “Top 1% S&P Global ESG Score 2022” in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry from the announcement of Sustainability Yearbook 2023 by the S&P Global.
Mr. Bandhit Thamprajamchit, Chief Executive Officer and President, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, revealed that Thaioil received the highest sustainability ranking from the S&P Global Sustainability Award 2023 at the level of “Top 1% S&P Global ESG Score 2022” for the 8th year from Sustainability Yearbook 2023 by S&P Global, a leading provider of global financial information and credit ratings.
“This award reflects our professionalism in business practices and commitments to operate our business toward sustainable development that aligns with social and environmentally responsible manner under the principle of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) and good corporate governance. This reaffirms the Company's commitment to uplift the quality of life and create long-term value of all stakeholders.
Furthermore, Thaioil has also been recognized as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) 2022 for the tenth consecutive year in December 2022 from the Sustainability Index rating of S&P Global, the world's leading provider of a financial information service and credit ratings, in which will build confidence for both domestic and foreign investors as well as connecting values to all of our stakeholders.” Mr. Bandhit Thamprajamchit added.

January 2014, Thaioil has qualified and has received the Gold Class distinction for the excellence sustainability performance in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry by RobecoSAM who does the corporate sustainability assessment for DJSI. Eligible for the Gold Class is the highest ranked level of RobecoSAM Sustainability Award 2014.
In January 2015, Thaioil has been ranked by RobecoSAM as an industry leader in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry. In this assessment, Thaioil has also been announced as gold class for the second consecutive years which is the highest ranked level of RobecoSAM Sustainability Award 2015.
In January 2016, Thaioil has been recognized globally as an industry leader in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry by RobecoSAM for the 2 consecutive years and positioned as gold class for the 3 consecutive years which is the highest ranked level of RobecoSAM Sustainability Award 2016.
In January 2017, RobecoSAM has ranked Thaioil globally globally as an industry leader in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry by RobecoSAM for the third consecutive years and positioned as gold class for the fourth consecutive years which is the highest level of RobecoSAM Sustainability Award 2017.
In January 2018, RobecoSAM has ranked Thaioil globally globally as an industry leader in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry by RobecoSAM for the fourth consecutive years and positioned as gold class for the fifth consecutive years and positioned as gold class for the 5 consecutive years, which is the highest level of RobecoSAM Sustainability Award 2018.
In February 2019, Thaioil was listed as top sustainability performing companies by SAM in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry for the sixth consecutive years and received Silver Award recognition at the SAM Sustainability Award 2019.
In February 2020, Thaioil listed as an industry leader in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry by S&P Global for the fifth years and positioned as gold class for the sixth consecutive years, earning S&P Global Gold Class Sustainability Award 2020.
In February 2021, Thaioil was listed as top sustainability performing companies in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry for the seventh years, earning S&P Global Gold Class Sustainability Award 2021.
In February 2022, Thaioil was listed as top sustainability performing companies in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry for the ninth consecutive years and received Silver Award recognition at the S&P Global Sustainability Award 2022.
In December 2022, Thaioil was listed as a DJSI member in the Oil and Gas Marketing and Refining Industry for the tenth consecutive year and highest recognition at the S&P Global Sustainability Award 2022.
