Recently, Thai Oil Public Company Limited led by Ms. Suwimol Chaluaydumrong (2nd right), Vice President – Corporate Compliance has been presented with “TOP 50 ASEAN PLCs (TOP 11-30)”, which the company has won it for 2 consecutive years by Mr. Yang Berhormat Tuan Lim Guan Eng (center), Finance Minister of Malaysia in The 2nd ASEAN Corporate Governance Award Ceremony 2018, hosted by The Minority Shareholders Watch Group, a Malaysian corporate governance expert. The ceremony was held at Kuala Lumper, Malaysia.
ASEAN CG scorecard project has been implemented since 2012 by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum comprising the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of 6 ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The project is aimed to honor the ASEAN listed companies which is committed to perform good corporate governance principles in its business operation continuously. Thaioil has been ranked as one of the top 50 listed companies with the highest market capitalization of the top 100 in six ASEAN countries.
