Thai Oil Public Company Limited entered into the 4th MOU with Petroleum and Petrochemical College (PPC), Chulalongkorn University. Recently, Mr. Atikom Terbsiri (2nd left) , Chief Executive Officer and President, Thai Oil Public Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding on research and development collaboration with Professor Dr.Bundhit Eua-arporn (2nd right), President of Chulalongkorn University, witnessed by Mr. Santi Wasanasiri (far left), Vice President – Innovation and Sustainability, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, Professor Dr. Suwabun Chirachanchai (far right), Dean of Petroleum and Petrochemical College. The ceremony was held at the Board Meeting Room, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, 12th floor Building A, Energy Complex Building, Bangkok.
Thaioil together with PPC have successfully driven various research projects which are applicable to the refinery since 2008, for examples, the projects on performance catalysts testing for sulfur eliminating in diesel oil, the development project on heat exchange in crude oil distillation unit under atmospheric pressure. In this regard, the partnership between private and educational sectors would enhance great value leading to various initiatives on innovation benefited to industry development. Moreover, it has brought research and development the competitive edge in regional and worldwide onwards.
