Recently, Ms. Prisana Praharnkhasuk, Executive Vice President-Finance and Accouting, Thai Oil Public Company Limited (center) was presented with the “Aisa’s Best CFO (Investor Relations)” award and Mr. Chatchai Siriwit, Investor Relations Manager (left), was also presented with the “Best Investor Relations Company – Thailand” award, on behalf of Thai Oil Public Company Limited at the Asian Excellence Recognition Awards 2015,which was organized by Corporate Governance Asia publication with Mr. Aldrin Monsod, Corporate Governance Asia’s Managing Director and Publisher (right) presiding over the award ceremony. The ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Hong Kong.
The “Asia’s Best CFO (Investor Relations)” award reflects the achievements of Ms. Prisana Praharnkhasuk, Executive Vice President-Finance and Accouting, in the previous year. She was able to pinpoint the window of opportunity as the capital markets open and shut very quickly during volatile market environment. Her financial repertoire should include liability management in order to boost the company’s financial structure and manage its debt maturity profile. Her functions, though, should not be limited to capital markets activity and in many instances also includes finance and treasury operations, business planning and strategic procurement, among others.
As for the “Best Investor Relations Company – Thailand ” award, this is the third year that the company is recognized for its outstanding commitment to the highest standards of disclosure, and fairness in disseminating information that is beyond the requirement of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company is also regarded as an example of an Asian company that provides excellence in imparting information to stakeholders.
