Recently, Thai Oil Public Company Limited by Mr. Viroj Meenaphant (4th left), Executive Vice President – Corporate Governance and Affairs together with Mr. Somsak Hommaung (4th right), Director – General, Marine department, Ministry of Transport have launched a project on “To save the world, let’s use cloth bags with Thaioil and Marine Department”. The project was aimed to raise awareness on the consequence of plastic waste to local people and entrepreneurs in Chonburi province, making them understand and reduce the use of plastic bags. In this event, the various initiatives to strengthen knowledge and awareness on cloth bag using have been implemented, including the seminar led by academic and environmental experts. The ceremony was held at Koh Loy jetty, Amphoe Si-Racha, Chonburi province.
