Public Policy and Contributions
Thaioil is committed to political neutrality, as stated in our Corporate Governance and Code of Conduct Manual . Thaioil does not make contributions to lobbying or interest organizations; local, regional, or national political campaigns/candidates. Thaioil makes contributions and other forms of spending to organizations for the primary purpose of advancing operational excellence and socially and environmentally responsible practices in the oil industry.
A breakdown of all contributions over the past four years is shown below. In 2023, Thaioil and Subsidiaries contributed a total of 13.78 million THB to trade associations and tax-exempt groups. The scope of contribution covers 96% of total revenues.

- (6) Membership fees for the Federation of Thai Industries has been waived for Thai Oil Power Co., Ltd. since 2024 due Thai Oil Power Co., Ltd. since 2024 due to termination of business, however it includes membership fees as an associate member of subsidiaries within Thaioil Group.
- (7) Network for promoting cooperation in reducing Thailand's greenhouse gas emissions. No membership fee.

Top Three Organizations
The top three organizations that received the most funding from Thaioil in 2023 are primarily those that support our priority issues, as detailed above. They include:
- 1. The International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds: IOPC Funds: the IOPC Fund provides compensation for oil pollution damage resulting from spills of persistent oil from tankers. This fund can financially support Thaioil in case of damage from oil spill case.
- 2. Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL): The OSRL is the well-known international industry-funded cooperative dedicated to responding to oil spills globally by providing preparedness, response, and intervention services delivered by highly experienced and qualified global team of experts. The OSRL team can support Thaioil in case of marine oil spill response.
- 3. Oil Industry Environmental Safety Group Association (IESG): The IESG is a non-profit organization established by the oil industry to advance safety and environmental excellence in Thailand. Thaioil is active in IESG as a member of all activities i.e. marine safety, marine oil spill response, and inland transport safety. Through our membership, we regularly share safety practices with our peers and leading industry experts, and participate in annual oil spill response exercises.
