In line with the government’s policy supporting and promoting renewable energy production and consumption, the Company set up Thaioil Ethanol Company Limited, which is entirely owned by Thai Oil Public Co., Ltd., to be the central in the development of the ethanol business and its related products.
The company, which produces sugarcane ethanol and has a daily output of 200,000 liters, is a joint venture in which Thaioil holds 30% while Petro Green Co., Ltd., one of Mitr Phol's subsidiary companies, and Padaeng Industry Plc. hold the rest.
